Hi, my name’s Laurence. I’m an NICEIC registered electrician and have experience of other trades. This means I can provide services such as carpentry, plastering, plumbing, brickwork, tiling and damp proofing in order to fully complete a job. A few examples of this are: plastering a wall after chasing in cables, plumbing in an electric shower and replacing rotten joists during a rewire.

I operate as a sole trader, with low overheads and therefore I'm able to offer very competitive rates. My Checkatrade score is 10 out of 10. My specialities are fault finding and bespoke rewires - prioritising which cables to replace by surveying and testing.

Some of the work I undertake:

1. Full and partial rewires.

2. Fuse board and consumer unit upgrades.

3. Fault finding - including every type of strange smell / sound and anomalous tripping circuits.

4. Additional sockets, light fittings, accessories and circuits - including shower circuits and outbuilding supplies.

5. Moving or replacing sockets, light fittings and accessories.

6. Dedicated electric heater circuits.

7. Hard wired and interconnected smoke and heat alarms (type LD3).

8. Electric vehicle charging - qualified, independant and unaffiliated.

9. TV wall mounting.

10. Initial and periodic testing (EIC and EICR) in accordance with C&G 2391

11. Installing hard wired security cameras and doorbells, such as “Ring” and “Nest”.
